Backups you have already restored

Cloud backup for small businesses, restore-tested every quarter, with public prices.

CISA says to “maintain offline, encrypted backups of critical data” and to “regularly test the availability and integrity of backups in a disaster recovery scenario.” We lock one copy and test it every quarter.

Example: a Friday-night server failure

Example engagement. A 40-person food distributor runs one order server. Trucks load at 4 a.m.

  1. Week 1

    Map the order server

The owner agrees the order server can lose 1 hour of entries and wait 4 hours, so it goes on Standby Recovery.

  2. Day 10

    Copy and lock

The server is imaged nightly with hourly file versions, a locked copy sits in a second US region, and the first restore is proven.

  3. March drill

    Drill the failover

The order server boots in an isolated space in 2 hours 50 minutes. A missing route-sheet printer driver is fixed and retested.

  4. Fri 11:40 p.m.

    Restore before the trucks

Disks fail on the order server. An engineer follows the runbook, sends hourly updates and has it running in the cloud by 2:15 a.m.
